Jeep
Track Hawk
Fiat
Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) recently confirmed to its dealers that the Jeep
Grand Cherokee Track Hawk has been greenlit for production and will go 0-60 mph
in just 3.5 seconds and will likely be powered by the same 6.2-liter
supercharged V8 engine found in the Charger and Challenger Hellcat models. The
Hellcat engine makes 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque and the Jeep Grand Cherokee
Track Hawk will be equipped with all-wheel drive as standard.
The
American automaker currently offers the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT that is powered
by a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine with 475 hp. Needless to say, the Jeep Grand
Cherokee Track Hawk will trump the SRT offering and will likely be one of the
fastest SUVs available. It’ll even accelerate to 60 mph from a standstill
faster than a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S!
