Nissan Versa Note
Nissan
has announced the prices of the 2016 Nissan Versa Note for the U.S. market. The
updated hatchback is available in five trim levels – S, S Plus, SV, SR and SL.
The new model is now on sale at the company’s dealerships nationwide with
prices starting from US$ 14,180.
The
Versa Note shares many similarities with its sedan counterpart. Changes to the
exterior are dark headlight surrounds, fog lights, ORVMs with integrated turn
indicator, rear spoiler and 16-inch sport alloy wheels. Two new exterior colors
are also offered – Cayenne Red and Gun Metallic.
Also
new for 2016, is the addition of SV Convenience Pack as standard fitment to the
SV trim level. This includes, NissanConnectSM with Mobile Apps, 5.0-inch color
display (5.8-inch on the SL), streaming audio support through Bluetooth,
SiriusXM satellite radio (SiriusXM subscription required), hands-free text
messaging assistant, rear-view monitor, suede-like seats and Divide-N-Hide
adjustable floor.
The
2016 Note is powered by a 109 hp 1.6-liter DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder engine.
The base ‘S’ trim level is available only with the 5-speed manual while the
remaining four trim levels are offered exclusively with the Xtronic CVT
transmission. Nissan claims a fuel efficiency of 40 mpg (17 km/l) on the
highway with the CVT and 36 mpg (15.3 km/l) with the manual gearbox.
