Moto
Guzzi V9
At the 2015 EICMA motor
show, Italian motorcycle maker Moto Guzzi will be celebrating their 95th
anniversary. The Italian will be launching a entirely new V9 range that will
sit atop the V7’s.
What we are expecting
at EICMA this year are two new V9 motorcycles. The first will be a called the
V9 Bobber, while the other will go by the
name V9 Roamer. Both these machines are expected to be powered by a 800 cc
V-Twin engine where the gearbox will power the wheel via a shaft drive.
More
news comes from Motorcyclist, who suggest that Moto Guzzi will also be
launching a new bagger that is based on the company’s one-off “Slim Bagger”
prototype showcased at last year’s EICMA motor show.
We can also expect a
few other new models that would include a new V7 II Stornello scrambler that
would fit in the modern heritage range and take inspiration from the original
Stornello from the 1960s and 1970s.
