Porsche
New Macan Turbo
Porsche has upgraded
some of the interior features of their smaller SUV, releasing also new styling
packages for the Turbo models.
Porsche will now offer
their latest PCM infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen, real-time
navigation, easier operation, built-in WiFi hotspot and optional Apple CarPlay
compatibility, originally seen in the facelifted 911. Porsche also offers new
full-LED headlights as an option for all Macan models, while a re-engineered
steering system provides a more direct handing experience and better feedback.
The company also
announced the launch of additional exterior and interior packages for the Macan
Turbo, inspired by the GTS model. The exterior package includes a set of
bi-color 21-inch Turbo design wheels, Sport Design door mirrors and wheel hub
covers with colored accents, high gloss-black inserts for the air inlets, side
blades, the trim strips of the side windows and the rear underbody panel. The
black tailpipes of the exhaust and the smoked rear lights complete the changes
of the exterior package.
The cabin benefits from
plenty of Alcantara trim with contrasting stitching, covering from the middle
section of the seats to the armrests of the center console and the door panels.
The instrument panel, door panels and the seats can be decorated with either
Rhodium Silver or Garnet Red stitching.
Both packages can be
ordered separately while Porsche added new colors to the available palette for
the Macan. The new Porsche Macan will be available as from early 2016 and can
be ordered in Germany now with prices starting at 61,143 euros for the Macan S
model and all the way up to 83,753 euros for the top-of-the-range 400 hp Macan
Turbo.
