Colour Up!
Volkswagen has
introduced a new grade for it’s Up! city car, ‘Colour Up!’, in Germany. This
trim level is based on the top of the line high up! It is offered in a total of
five colour combinations and starts at € 13,375.
The colour combinations
feature new shades such as ‘fontana red’ and ‘sandstorm yellow’. These colours
are featured prominently on the 17-inch ‘polygon wheels’, wing mirrors and
decorative stripes on the sides. More changes to the exterior are seen on the
tinted side and rear windows as well as the ‘Colour’ lettering written on the
lower flanks.
Interior is not left
out either. The cabin is marked by colourful detailing seen on the dashboard
styling panel and AC vent rings; chrome embellishments have also been used to
enhance the look of the cabin. The visual changes aside, Volkswagen has also
added air conditioning system, fog lights and tyre pressure indicator.
The Up! is not the only
vehicle to have received some visual tweaks. The Polo’s top-spec Highline trim
level has also received some revisions in the form of a ‘Colour Pack’ which
costs € 590. This pack adds contrasting ‘Deep Black Pearl Effect’ or ‘Pepper
Grey’ colour to the roof and side mirrors. This pack includes 17-inch
‘Mirabeau’ wheel rims and tinted side windows also.
