HPerformance
has infused significantly more power into a previous generation Audi TT RS. Now, their engineers are back with a new kit that takes the
5-cylinder 2.5-liter turbo to a mind-blowing 750 Ps. It’s the same
story with the torque as this was bumped from the previous 690 Nm to a tire-shredding 880 Nm.
The
full-blown boost package can be had for a whopping € 50,000 and includes a tuned
GTX-35 turbocharger and a Clubsport exhaust system with 90 mm tips. To match the
added oomph, HPerformance fitted the Audi TT RS with ceramic brakes sourced
from the mighty R8 supercar. Numerous other tweaks were necessary to achieve
this amazing level of power, including a high-pressure fuel pump, optimized
injectors, and a software revision courtesy of MTR-Performance.
Details
concerning performance have not been disclosed, but it probably runs the 0-100 km/h sprint in approximately 3.5 seconds taking into
account a stock TT RS does the job in 4.1 seconds. Top speed likely around the 300 km/h.
If
you are not willing to spend so much money on a tuning job, there is a lesser
600 Ps package priced at € 9,999. At the other end of the spectrum,
HPerformance says this “Black Hawk” TT RS featured here will receive even more
power in the near future.
