Praëm
SP3
This radial new motorcycle comes from a French
startup firm going by the name of Praëm who debuted their first motorcycle, the
SP3 this week in Paris. Praëm is started by Sylvain Berneron, an ex-BMW
Motorrad designer and Florent Berneron, a former aeronautical mechanic in the
French army.
This motorcycle carries the underpinnings of a 2000 Honda VTR1000
SP1 with quite a few cycle parts exchanged with newer, better-performing ones.
The unique bodywork is made in a combination of alloy while the fairing is made
out of hundreds of thin aluminium wires joined together. The front fork units
have been upgraded to Öhlins FGR units fitted with radial Brembo .484 calipers.
Praëm
has drawings and plans ready for another six motorcycles which can be expected
from the company in the coming year. The new designs consist of two new cafe racers, a board tracker, a Ducati scrambler (which appears
to be almost ready) a custom V-twin along with two more machines.
