Suzuki Alto Works
Suzuki
is showcasing a hotter version of the JDM-spec Suzuki Alto at the 2015 Tokyo
Motor Show. Called the Suzuki Alto Works, it packs a turbocharged three
cylinder 660 cc petrol engine that churns out 51 bhp and 63 Nm of torque. It is
paired to a 5-speed short-throw manual gearbox as standard, while a 5-speed
Auto Gear Shift (AGS) is also offered in higher variants. Also optional is an
ALLGRIP 4WD system.
As
the body-kit suggests, the Suzuki Alto Works is the performance oriented
version of the Suzuki Alto. Features include larger air dam, fog lamps,
multi-spoke alloy rims, side sill extensions with side decals, red brake
calipers and chrome bezels for the bug-eyed headlamps.
Inside,
it gets body-hugging Recaro seats, red contrast stitching, floor carpets,
leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a sportier instrument cluster.
Suzuki
will launch the model in Japan on December 24 and will be exclusive sold to Japanese market.
