Toyota
Noah G's & Voxy G's concepts
Toyota
has unveiled the Noah G's and Voxy G's concepts ahead of the 2016 Tokyo Auto
Salon. Described as "souped-up minivans," the models have been
equipped with an aggressive body kit that includes sportier front and rear
bumpers. The concepts also have mesh
grille inserts, red brake calipers, and sporty alloy wheels with a dark finish.
Toyota
didn't have much to say about the models but noted both are proposals to give
the minivans a "sportier feel." Despite this emphasis, the automaker says the vans are comfortable and
have a "refined ride."
There's
no word on performance specifications but the standard vans can be equipped
with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 152 PS and 193 Nm of torque. Customers can also order a hybrid variant which uses a 1.8-liter engine
that develops 99 PS and 142 Nm of torque.
The
minivans will be shown alongside the S-FR Racing concept which features an
aggressive body kit, a ventilated hood, carbon fiber reinforced plastic
canards, and a massive rear wing.
