Chak Motors Molot
Chak
Motors is a Russian motorcycle company based in St. Petersburg, and founded by
Igor Chak a Russian born American designer. The Company specializes in
designing, producing custom, handmade motorcycles. The new motorcycle was
designed with maximum safety in mind and is fitted with a comprehensive list of
modern systems borrowed from the realm of cars.
The
Molot is based on a stock 2013 Honda CBR 1000RR ABS, so it’s powered by a 999 cc
Liquid-Cooled Inline Four-Cylinder engine. Needles to say that the base model
was heavily modified featuring a completely new body made of carbon fiber. It
is also worthy of being mentioned that the company’s technicians used 3D
printing technology for up 5 % of the parts used for the new Molot.
But
what make this motorcycle truly unique are its high tech safety systems. For
the starters Chak Motors ditched all the incandescent bulbs and replaced them
with modern LED technology. Then, there is the Predictive Emergency Braking
System (PEBS) which works together with the ABS. This system has the ability to
apply automatic breaking when it detects that the motorcycle is too close from
a possible obstacle thus helping you avoid a collision.
You
also get blind spot monitoring, front and rear HD cameras which store
information in an indestructible black box, a Departure Warning System (LDWS),
and a built in gyroscope which automatically disables throttle is it detects
any anomaly in vibration and control.
