2016 Nissan Qashqai
Nissan's compact crossover, the Qashqai,
has received a series of changes for 2016 in the UK.
The the n-tec and the n-tec+ trim grades
has been dropped and replaced by the N-Connecta, which slots just under the
range-topper Tekna and comes with features such as Heat Pack, Comfort Pack and
Executive Pack, priced from £ 250, £ 550 and £ 1,500 respectively, along with the
17-inch alloys at no extra cost.
The entry-level Visia & Acenta can
now be equipped with the Smart Vision Pack, which includes Traffic Sign
Recognition, High Beam Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Emergency
Braking, Fort and Rear Parking Sensors and Anti Dazzle Rear View Mirror, for
£ 495.
Next up in the lineup is the Acenta
that's available with a Premium Pack consisting of 18-inch alloy wheels,
privacy glass and electric folding mirrors, the Comfort Pack (£ 550) with
Panoramic Glass Roof and roof rails, and the Tech Pack (£ 750) that adds the
NissanConnect 7-inch touchscreen navi, CD, Aux, Bluetooth music streaming, USB,
DAB Radio, Smartphone Apps and color rearview camera.
Finally, the Tekna sports 17-inch alloy
wheels as standard, along with Sports Alcantara and grey leather interior with
dark headlining for £495 and Panoramic Glass Roof at £ 400.
In the chassis, the the DiG-T 163
versions that are offered in N-Connecta and Tekna trim have a multi-link rear
suspension as standard and an increased fuel tank capacity, from 55 to 65
liters.
