2016
Honda CBR300R
Honda
has recently unveiled their updated entry-level sport-bike CBR300R
for 2016. While the motorcycle’s design and engine remains the same as the
2015 model, Honda will now offer better graphics and color options.
For
2016, the Honda CBR300R gets new Bright Yellow/Matte Black and Candy
Orange/Matt Black livery along with the standard black color option. The
Whte/Red/Blue HRC-themed paint scheme that was available for 2015 has been
excluded from the 2016 CBR300R color options for now but Honda might introduce
the same at a later stage as a special edition, nothing officially announced by
Honda there.
On
the engine front, the same 286 cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine with
counterbalance shaft continues to do duty in the CBR300R. The engine offers
smooth power delivery that is optimal for new riders as well as veterans who
are looking for a small, inexpensive and smooth motorcycle to run about for
their urban commutes. For 2016, riders can also opt in for the optional ABS
package which Honda has on offer. The Honda CBR300R will compete against
motorcycles such as the Kawasaki Ninja 300, Yamaha R3 and the sporty KTM RC390.
The
2016 Honda CBR300R starts at a base price of US$ 4,399 with the ABS variant priced
at US$ 4,899.
