Chevrolet Trailblazer facelift
Chevrolet is prepping a facelift for the
Chevrolet Trailblazer, which was spotted testing in Brazil. Spyshots from Auto
Segredos provide a first look at what can be expected, with respect to exterior
changes.
Up front, the facelifted Trailblazer
gets a new engine hood, headlights, fenders and bumper. The headlights appear
to be similar to the Chevrolet Onix, and high end variants will have LED
daytime lights. The dual grille is retained, although will be slightly
re-profiled for an edgier look. The rear end will get updated taillamps and
bumper designs.
No changes are reported for the interior
of the car. As with any facelift, expect updates to the MyLink infotainment
system, seat upholstery and trim, and interior features.
The facelifted Trailblazer will offer
the same 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel capable of 200 hp and 500 Nm of torque
and a 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine with 277 hp. It will, reportedly, offer a
2.5-liter EcoTec petrol engine producing 202 hp and 259 Nm of torque, in select
markets. Expect the Trailblazer facelift to have its premiere later in the year
in South America.
