Freddie
Mercury Evora S
There
can be only one Freddie Mercury, and there will only be one Lotus Evora S that
will bear his signature. For the late Queen frontman’s 65th birth anniversary,
Lotus is donating this one-of-one car which will be auctioned to help the
Mercury Phoenix Trust foundation for HIV/AIDS victims. The pearl white car will
have red and yellow stripes, in reference to the iconic costume that the singer
wore on the 1986 Magic Tour. On the front fender is Freddie’s silhouette with
the inscription ‘Lover of life. Singer of songs.’ Those who are lucky enough to
be in London at the time of this writing can proceed to the Savoy restaurant
where the auction will be held.
