Cherokee & Renegade Night Eagle Editions
Jeep
has introduced the Cherokee and Renegade Night Eagle special editions at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
First
up, the Cherokee Night Eagle is based on the Cherokee Longitude and features
gloss black accents and 18-inch alloy wheels with a gloss black finish.
The
model also features a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a dual-zone climate
control system and an infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display and GPS
navigation. Other highlights include a
power tailgate and a nine-speaker premium audio system with a subwoofer.
Power
is provided by a 2.2-liter MultiJet II turbodiesel engine that has outputs of
185 PS and 200 PS.
Likewise,
the Renegade Night Eagle is based on the Renegade Longitude and features satin
grey exterior accents as well as 17-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. The model will be available in Alpine White,
Carbon Black, Glacier Silver, Solar Yellow and a new matte color called Volcano
Sand.
Interior
changes are limited but the crossover comes nicely equipped with a
leather-wrapped steering, unique upholstery and a UConnect infotainment system
with a 5-inch display.
A
variety of engines will be available including a 1.4-liter MultiAir with 140 PS, a 1.6-liter Multijet with 120 PS and a 2.0-liter Multijet
with outputs of 120 PS and 140 PS.
