Mercedes-Benz New C63 AMG Coupe Night
Package
The
performance division of the German automaker has unveiled a special package for
the C63 Coupe and C63 S Coupe dubbed the Night Package.
We've seen so-called Night Packages on a
range of other Mercedes-Benz models and for the C63 Coupe duo, a number of
familiar visual updates are present. For starters, gloss black is now found
across the front splitter, fascia and grille as well as the side skirts and
wing mirrors.
To make the C63 Coupe Night Package
models a bit more menacing from the rear, a more aggressive diffuser has been
installed alongside a custom AMG sports exhaust system to give the brutal
twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 an even more impressive soundtrack.
The package can be optioned for 1,130
euros and as you'd expect for that little money, it doesn't involve any
mechanical modifications.
That means those C63 Coupe and C63 S
Coupe models fitted with the Night Package will still produce 476 hp and 503 hp
respectively, with torque ranging from 479 lb-ft to 516 lb-ft. In the C63
Coupe, that results in a sprint to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and an
electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. Meanwhile, the C63 S Coupe can
achieve a 3.9 second time from zero to 100 km/h.
