2016 Yamaha R15 New Colours
India Yamaha Motor has updated the
colour options of the Yamaha R15 V2.0 and has revised its price. The all three options are priced the same, at INR 1,18,373. The colours
available now are Revving Blue, Sparky Green and Adrenaline Red. All prices
mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi.
There is no mechanical change in the
2016 model year R15. It is powered by the same 149 cc liquid-cooled
single-cylinder engine with SOHC and FI, that produces 17 PS at 8,500 rpm and
15 Nm at 7,500 rpm, mated to the same six-speed gearbox.
Underpinned by the Deltabox chassis, the
R15 V2.0 uses telescopic fork, link-type monocross rear suspension, single
hydraulic disc brake at the front and rear, 90/80-17 tyre upfront and
130/70-R17 tyre at the rear. The 136 kg motorcycle has a wheelbase of 1,345 mm,
saddle height of 800 mm and a ground clearance of 160 mm. A similar update has
not been carried out on the Yamaha R15S.
