2016 Holden Colorado and Colorado 7
Last week, the facelifted Holden
Colorado’s front-end was revealed in an unofficial image. The picture not only
show design changes in the Colorado pickup facelift, but also indirectly
pointed out the design changes to be made in the Holden Colorado 7, its SUV
version.
The report says that Holden will fix everything that’s acknowledged
internally as not being satisfactory or up to the mark. The improvements are
being worked on at the company’s Lang Lang Proving Ground in Victoria, where
changes are being carried out to the suspension and steering of vehicles. The
suspension and steering systems have been significantly revised for improving
comfort, while notable NVH improvements have also been made, the report
elucidates.
The 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine’s
outputs will be changed from current 147 hp and 500 Nm. There may be some
changes to the throttle response as well as to the torque delivery in low
engine speeds.
Inside, Holden may equip the facelifted
Colorado and Colorado 7 with a new infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay
and Android Auto smartphone integration compatibility, the report adds.
