Audi A8 Limousine
The appearance of a stretched version of
Audi’s current A8 limousine with six-doors on European roads this week raises
more questions than answers.
For all we know at this point, it could
turn out to be a custom creation from a private company, but our spies did
notice that it was carrying Ingolstadt test plates, something that has them
pondering if Audi is working on such a model.
If that’s the case, it could be anything
from a state vehicle for Chancellor Angela Merkel to a limited production model
for the current generation A8 or even a test mule for a Maybach rival from the
all-new A8 that will come into the limelight sometime in 2017.
