Citroën C6 (China)
Abandoned in Europe, the Citroën C6 will
revive in China. In the guise of a long 4-door sedan designed specifically for
this market. Citroën recently delivered the very first official photos.
Already interview in prototype form,
then announced via sketches there a few days, the Citroën C6 on display at this
a little more, but not much. It reveals the face, complete with LED headlights
with a square light signature, and traditional herringbone overcoming a wider
grille.
The profile says it all, a large sedan
in very marked by the trunk profile. A first for this line of large Citroën
accustomed to more streamlined rear lines: DS, CX, XM, C6, without having
provided a tailgate tradition. So very classic codes furiously reminiscent of another
great Chinese sedan, the Dongfeng Fengshen-A9.
As suggested the prototypes, this C6 is
precisely derived, and is distinguished by the treatment of the front and rear,
and a quarter at least stretched glass. It is still unclear what the internal
differences. As A9, the C6 is based on PF3 platform, since the A9 is itself
closely derived from the Peugeot 508. It should adopt the 1.8 THP 204 hp,
combined with an automatic 6-speed gearbox. Official C6 presentation is at Beijing
Motor Show in late April.
