Mitsubishi Shogun SG5

A new top-spec SG5 trim level for the Mitsubishi Shogun has been announced, with extra standard equipment over the previous range-topping SG4 version. It costs from £ 39,299, which is up from £ 37,299 for the SG4, and will be available from mid February.

The extra kit includes a higher quality leather interior (in red, beige or grey) and carpet to match, with LED interior lights finishing off the new interior look. The SG5's rear passengers will get a treat too, as the back seats are now heated and get two USB charging ports.

New 20-inch alloy wheels and a Shogun bonnet badge differentiate the SG5 from the outside, plus front door entry guards and a plate on the step into the car.

Other equipment carried over from the SG4 model includes LED daytime running lights, tinted windows, parking sensors, auto lights and wipers, a chrome grille and heated electric door mirrors. On the inside you'll find Bluetooth connectivity, DAB radio, a 12-speaker stereo, climate control, an electric sunroof and heated seats.

Safety kit includes an adaptive four-wheel drive system, braking assist, a rear-view camera, ISOFIX child seat mountings and six airbags around the cabin.
