2017 Toyota Camry
Even though some trims have gained more
standard equipment, prices for the 2017 Toyota Camry remain unchanged over the
previous model year.
Some of the novelties found across the
range include the Blue Streak Metallic paint, joining the regular color palette
from the 2016 Camry Special Edition, while the XLE and XSE grades now have
standard Entune Audio Plus multimedia system with Navigation App and audio
system. The four-cylinder versions of the XLE and XSE, along with the XLE
Hybrid, have received standard Qi Wireless Smartphone charging.
The all Toyota
Camry models are equipped with 10 airbags, STAR Safety
System, which includes Traction Control, Vehicle Stability Control, Electronic
Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist, Smart Stop Technology (SST)
and tire pressure monitoring system.
Power continues to come from a 2.5-liter
four-cylinder, with 178 HP and 230 Nm of torque, or from a
3.5-liter V6, producing 268 HP and 336 Nm of torque, mated to a
six-speed automatic gearbox, in both cases. The Camry Hybrid uses a 2.5-liter
petrol burner and an electric motor, for a combined output of 200-horsepower,
channeled to the front wheels through an electronically-controlled CVT.
Toyota will start shipping the first
units of the 2017 Camry and Camry Hybrid to dealers this week. Full pricing
