600K PR by DFouge
Since the arrival of the
first 3 wheel scooter in 2006, the border between the worlds of the scooter and
the car tends to fade gradually. Peugeot Metropolis 400, Quadro 4 and Adiva
AD3, each in their own way, accelerated this process of inevitable
hybridization. With its concept 600K PRL, the young designer Stéphane Fougere
imagined halfway vehicle between.
True to the retro-futuristic
trend in which already bathed his scooter concept Izigo and Ghost LS, Stéphane
found inspiration in the car of the 1960s This is why his 600K PRL features a
metal body with generous curves a line along the ground and the dimensions
worthy of a luxury sedan (2m 40cm long).
Beyond its slick design, the
concept scooter offers a level of comfort to rival any two-wheelers. With its
windscreen way Renault Spider and directional air flow system protects the
driver from wind and rain regardless of the speed at which it rolls. heated grips,
heated seat and built-in infrared finally ensure the heating function.
The dashboard also benefits
from cutting-edge technologies since the scooter can change settings: driving
mode, height of the saddle, hydropneumatic suspension sensitivity, and aperture control chest. This mini-plant Home automation
can be controlled via a joystick or stopped, through the large touch screen
located between the driver's legs.
If the central corridor is
so imposing, it is because it contains a fuel tank of 35 liters. It must
nevertheless be compressed to supply the huge engine of 600 cc, which develops
no less than 40 hp. With a view to saving, it nevertheless sees relieved by two
electric motors 4 kW housed in the front wheels and powered by a battery
lithium-ion pair.
These operate in conjunction
with an electronic management system of the motor. What effectively move this
colossus on 3 wheels 330 kilos! To
establish the technical details of its concept-scooter, Stéphane Fern relied on
CAD tools such as Autodesk Alias. A mammoth task for the enthusiast who always
dream to make a career in a builder.
