Concept Maz’out
There are 3 and a half
years, we see the early work of Stéphane Fougere, CAD Designer young enthusiast
motorcycles. Since then we haven't failed to present its new concept scooters,
always attractive and often at the forefront of innovation. With his latest
project called "Maz'Out" Stéphane wanted to return to a simpler
formula.
This is a great big 480 cc diesel engine. A
strange idea but far from impossible as proved by the Indian Hero with its RNT
150 TDI utility. To accommodate the large block while maintaining a center of
gravity closer to the ground, the tubular steel frame required many
adjustments.
Similarly, Stéphane has
focused on two wheels classic architecture of 10" wheels, where his 600K PRL based
on 3 wheels. And drum brakes oversize to slow the juggernaut of almost 250
kilos. Note also the use of a front suspension rocker, a large rear monoshock
gas lighting with LEDs and, conversely, the absence of dashboard worthy of the
name.
A failure played by
Stéphane, who favored the character on features and equipment. And the least we
can say is that the challenge was met with flying colors. By drawing
inspiration through all eras and countries, it created a maxi-scooter that will
make dream more than one rider. Remains to be seen if a manufacturer is
interested in his mastery of the Autodesk Alias software.
