Microlino
As part of the 86th International Motor
Show Geneva, Switzerland Micro has unveiled a project to say the least unusual. Exposed in fact on its stand an electric microcar concept inspired by the
Isetta, a size automobile "yogurt pot" imagined by BMW in the year
1956. Re-designed by students and Designwerk ZHAW schools, the compact vehicle
offers an original approach to urban mobility.
Behind its retro-typed lines, the
"Microlino" address a problem could not be more
modern. Like the Toyota i-Road and other E-Car 333, it aims to reduce the
impact of travel in the city of a space perspective (for parking in particular)
but also environmentally. That's why Micro has opted for a 100% electric motor,
an air pollution token, minimal sounds and smells.
Combined with its light weight (400 kg
excluding battery), power ensures acceleration worthy of a sports bike on the
first 20 meters with a maximum speed of 90 km / h. What quickly escape traffic
at red lights and double in peace! The Microlino displays other advantages,
starting with its protective cockpit, secure and larger than it looks. All in a
template that does not exceed that of some 3 wheel scooters train before wide
(LT).
Energy side, an outlet every animal
sector is enough to recharge its batteries via built 10 meter cable for a 80 km
autonomy. Currently in the prototype stage, the Microlino could be a rapid
production if the general public's enthusiasm is confirmed.
