Audi Q2 (UK)
Audi will open the order books for its
smallest SUV, the Q2, in the United Kingdom in August and the first deliveries
will commence in November.
A total of three grades will be
available, starting with the entry-level SE and its £ 20,230 price tag, which
rides on 16-inch alloy wheels and its standard equipment includes heated and
electrically adjustable side mirrors, MMI radio plus, MMI controller, Bluetooth
interface and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity.
For a £ 1,550 premium, the Sport adds
17-inch alloys, an SD-card based MMI navigation system with 3-month trial
unlocking the Audi connect portfolio, red or yellow inlays for the interior,
cruise control, cloth sport seats, light and rain sensors and the Audi Drive Select,
with five operational modes.
Fork out US$ 2,250 more and you get the S
Line with its styling enhancements, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lights on both
ends, front sport seats wrapped in cloth/leather upholstery with S embossing on
the backrests, LED interior lighting, multi-function perforated leather
steering wheel and inlays finished in brushed aluminum.
At the time of its launch, the Audi Q2
will be offered with a choice of two four-bangers, the 1.4-liter TFSI petrol
with 150 PS and the 1.6-liter TDI diesel, rated at 115 PS.
These will be joined, later this year, by a three-pot 1.0-liter TFSI, with 115
PS and a four-cylinder 2.0-liter TDI, which develops 150 PS.
Lesser versions will be paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, while plusher
ones will get a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
From mid-2017, a 2.0-liter TFSI petrol
unit will be added to the lineup, mated to an S Tronic transmission and the
brand's Quattro all-wheel drive. At that point, it will be possible to combine
the 150 PS TFSI and TDI mills with AWD.
