Ford Mondeo (China)
New Spy Shots of the facelifted Ford
Mondeo for China. It will debut in September on the Chengdu Auto Show and
launch on the Chinese car market in October. The facelift includes a new front
bumper, new front and tail lights, and most importantly a new grille. The Aston
Martin inspired grille of the current car will be replaced by a wider grille
with sharper corners.
Price
starts at 179,800 yuan and ends at 265,800 yuan. Engines: 181 hp 1.5 turbo, a
203 hp 2.0 turbo, and a 242 hp 2.0 turbo. All engines will continue in the
facelifted car and price range will be about the same. The Ford Mondeo is made
in China by Changan-Ford.
The base version will get a grille with
horizontal bars, whereas the luxurious Titanium version will get a honeycomb
grille.
