Toyota Alphard Type Black and Vellfire
Golden Eyes
Over in Japan, Toyota has introduced a
couple of special edition Alphard and Vellfire MPVs for the domestic market.
The Alphard Type Black and Vellfire Golden Eyes, as the specials are called,
were announced earlier today. Available in 2.5 litre and 3.5 litre variants and
in both 2WD/4WD guise, the Type Black and Golden Eyes add new trim and
highlights to the specification.
The exterior of the Alphard Type Black
is kitted up with a gold emblem up fron and dark-plated garnish for both front
and rear. Inside, the variant is dressed with new ultra-suede upholstery, which
features perforated black seats with a brown underlay. Brown stitching completes
the novelty.
As suggested by its moniker, the
Vellfire Golden Eyes has just that, courtesy of the surrounds in the headlamps
being finished in gold decorative trim. The front grille and rear garnish,
meanwhile, is finished in a smoked tone, and inside, the seats are again
perforated ultra-suede jobs, with gold being the colour of the underlay. Also
to be found, dark blue, Croc-tone pattern synthetic leather.
Common equipment includes a high
brightness finish to the wheels, a special four-spoke steering wheel, black
roof head lining, an AC100V 100 watt power outlet and a smart key with
decorative gold trim.
