Hyundai i20 Active SX (facelift)
Following the introduction of side and curtain
airbags in the Hyundai Elite i20 Asta (O), Hyundai has also made the same
available in its crossover variant – the Hyundai i20 Active.
Now six airbags are fitted as standard in the
range-topping SX grade, and is priced at INR 8.33 Lakhs and INR 9.71 Lakhs
(ex-showroom Delhi) for petrol and diesel variants, respectively. The addition
of extra airbags has raised the price of the i20 Active by INR 14,000.
Otherwise, no other changes or upgrades have been
made to the i20 Active. The 1.4 petrol + 4 AT combo remains exclusive to the
Elite i20, while the i20 Active continues to offer the 1.2-litre petrol Kappa
engine with VTVT paired to a five-speed manual gearbox, and a 1.4-litre U2
diesel motor with a six-speed manual transmission.
