Lamborghini Vitola (rumor)

The Italians have plans for the future, as a report from AutoBild (via Youtube) says the VW-owned company is working on a new electric model that’ll share the same J1 modular architecture with Porsche’s upcoming Mission E model – since the J1 platform will be scalable and (eventually) underpin other models.
Named the Vitola, the Lambo will reportedly use a fast-charging system, develop more power than the Aventador SV, and, subsequently, the Mission E, and sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds.

Although the company repeatedly stated that an all-electric model isn't on its horizon, Lambo could make it as an extremely limited model, like the Veneno or Centenario. If such a car will ever exist, it will be a far cry from Lambo’s normal power-hungry, noise-making agenda, especially as its only electrically aided model was the one-of-one Asterion Concept.
