General Motors has started testing the 2017
Chevrolet Beat without any camouflage in India. Carwale has published
undisguised spy shots of the 2017 Chevrolet Beat, exposing the new generation
model’s final design.
The 2017 Chevrolet Beat borrows cues from the
internationally sold fourth generation Chevrolet Spark for its front fascia,
but its proportions mimic those of the outgoing model. The profile seems to
have remained largely unchanged, while the rear-end gets a restyled tailgate,
bumper, tail lamps and horizontal reflectors.
Inside, changes have been brought
with new elements from the Chevrolet Beat Essentia concept. The new generation
model gets two-tone interior featuring matte silver centre console and chrome
garnish around the HVAC vents. High-end variants will be available with the
Chevrolet MyLink2 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The 2017 Chevrolet Beat is expected to be offered with a 1.0-litre diesel
engine and 1.2-litre petrol engine in India. It will have also spawn an
adventure variant named Chevrolet Beat Activ.
