2017 Kymco Like 125
The new Kymco Like is a new proof if it needed some progress made
by the Taiwanese manufacturer. It adopts a full leds
lighting, a saddle redesigned and sometimes two-tone depending on the color, a
chrome support bar, nice handles on the handlebars.
The Like 2017 adopts a new Euro4 engine. This air-cooled 4-valve
mono 125 develops 12 hp and 10.4 Nm, adopts low friction technology for energy efficiency and a lateral radiator. It is particularly quiet and not very greedy. It will also
be available in 50 cc (arrival scheduled end of 2017).
Likewise, there are significant developments at the frame and cycle
level compared to the previous one. The chassis has been reinforced on
the front, the tank has passed under the floor. The
tank cap migrates from the trunk to a concealed hatch at the bottom of the
deck. In passing, the fuel capacity is increased by one liter (7 instead of 6).
And the seat height increases from 10 mm to 790 mm.
12-inch rim size, fork and shocks remain the same, but the 2-disc
brake is now combined front and rear to comply with the new regulations. An ABS
version is also on the program, but will not be available in France, at least
not immediately.
The trunk has been slightly enlarged (only 1 headset jet screen
enter), the glove compartment of the deck has no more lock but is secured
(opening with the key on the contact only) and contains a USB port.
Finally, the Like puts the two wheels in the 21st century with its
"connectivity": your smartphone will be able to manage, via a
dedicated app, a lot of info that will appear on a round screen in the
dashboard: Forms, fund), speed and conso, weather, and even geolocation
with a simplified guidance service, or even (but only moetur off) your mail
Whattsapp, Facebook, etc. Your family photos can also be included!
No price yet, but it will certainly be much higher than the current
model. Available early 2017.
