Honda Custom Minivan (Tokyo Auto
Salon 2017)
Japanese
automakers are also preparing their fleets for the Tokyo Auto Salon 2017,
kicking off on January 13.
Honda is the latest to do so and
has released images and details of three modified minivans it will debut at the
event, all of which are based around the Freed. The first, Modulo X,
gives the Freed an outwardly sporty appearance thanks to numerous red and black
accents contrasting nicely against the white paint scheme.
The second Freed bound for Tokyo
is dubbed the Active and has been designed to be more outdoorsy and includes an
increased ride height, custom fascias incorporating bright green accents,
special wheels and an interesting matte purple paint job.
Last but not least is the Freed
that includes a host of parts from Mugen, including a new fascia, extended side
skirts, larger wheels and window deflectors.
Honda says that it will also
debuted an S660 with a luxurious leather interior at the show but has yet to
release any images of that model.
