The Japan-only Honda N-Box facelift has been spotted
plying on Japanese roads by MinkaraCarview. The kei car is seen getting a different radiator grille and bumpers.
The Honda N-Box is available
both in front and four-wheel drive. Powering the car is a three pot 658 cc mill
capable of producing 58 PS of maximum power at 7,300 rpm and 65 Nm of peak
torque at 4,700 rpm. Coupled to a CVT gearbox, the Honda N-Box has a fuel
efficiency of 25.6 km/l for the front wheel drive version. In four-wheel drive,
the figure drops to 23.6 km/l.
Inside, a touchscreen infotainment is present while
the driver information display reminds of the familiar Honda setting. Other
features include ambient lighting, blue or red coloured stitching on
upholstery. The windows can also keep out infrared rays to keep interiors cool.
The auto air con gets plasma cluster technology
which helps in ion air purification and deodorization. Expect all these
features to be carried forward on the 2017 Honda N-Box, when it arrives on the
Japanese market sometime next year.
