Icône Twin 125
Retro bikes "designed" in France have the wind in their
sails. PACICC initiated the trend by launching its Chinese-designed Mash
Seventy a few years ago. The success of the brand has given ideas to others.
Today, it is the importer and distributor 1Pulsion that decides to create its
own brand with Icon.
The brand will ultimately benefit from a complete range with the
trend Neo Retro and Coffee Racer, but for the moment it is the 125 Twin that
marks the arrival of this new manufacturer on the French market.
Already available from dealers, the 125 Twin stands out from the
rest of the production, because it is not powered by a
single cylinder, but by a twin-cylinder, liquid cooled 4-stroke. On such a
displacement, the twin offers a visual and sound advantage, suggesting a bigger
cube. On the other hand, it is not at the performance level that the latter
will illustrate with its 12 horses and its maximum speed announced at 108 km/h.
This category motorcycle is above all
chosen for its look. The Icon has serious arguments with a style quite
different from the competing productions with a more Bobber-oriented style by
its large 18 "front wheel, its thick rear tire and its forward steering
position.
The equipments are equally rewarding, like the 48 mm bellows
hydraulic fork, double rear shock absorbers with separate cylinders, Wave disc
brakes and double piston calipers. With a seat height of 690 mm and a dry
weight of 150 kg, the Twin should be accessible to all jigs.
Available in two matt black or silver colors, the Icon 125 Twin is
already available for sale at a price of € 2,999 .
