Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet (render)
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe has revealed and the world is already eagerly awaiting the
arrival of the cabriolet version. The new E-Class droptop will be based around the coupe and
for the most part, by absolutely identical, excluding the roof of course.
It may not be hard to visualize in your head how the
model will look but Theophilus Chin has done the work for you, expertly
rendering the model in a stunning shade of red.
The launch of the E-Class Cabriolet will give the
Stuttgart-based firm a further advantage on its BMW 5-Series and Audi A6 rivals
which aren't offered in coupe or convertible configurations. It should arrive with all the same engine configurations as the hardtop
alternative.
It will be offered with a
191 hp 2.0-liter inline-four diesel, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo petrol
delivering 181 hp and 242 hp in E200 and E300 guises as well as the E400 4Matic
with a 328 hp twin-turbo V6 petrol. After the E-Class Cabriolet hits the
market, E50 AMG and E63 AMG badged models can be expected.
