RUF RtR narrow (991)
The “narrow” designation in the RUF turbo
Rennsport’s (RTR) model name is a bit confusing. This autobahn destroyer wears
a wider body than a standard Porsche 991, the 911 iteration upon which it is
based, but is narrower than the original RUF RtR (also derived from the 991).
RUF claims that the reduced frontal area enables
better high-speed acceleration.
The heaviest of the RUF models listed here at
3,278 lbs, the RtR narrow is powered by a 3.8-liter air-cooled flat-six with
791 hp and 730 lb-ft, and like the Turbo R Limited can be specified with a
rear-wheel drive drivetrain or all-wheel drive drivetrain.
