Based on the Suzuki Swift and our spyshots of the next Swift Dzire, IAB’s Shoeb R Kalania
has created a rendering of the third generation Maruti Swift Dzire.
This is likely our best look yet at the 2017 Maruti
Swift Dire’s face, as the lines are similar to that of a pre-production test
mule spied last month. Top variants will feature projector headlamps with LED
daytime running strips, sleeker ORVMs with mounted turn indicators, LED-powered
taillamps, and rear parking sensors.
Inside, the new Swift Dzire will have beige fabric
seat upholstery that could be contrasted by a black dashboard similar to the
current model’s interior colours. An older spyshot of the interior photographed
from a distance had revealed that the centre console design is slightly
different to that of the JDM-spec Suzuki Swift. Expect top variants to come
with Maruti’s Smartplay touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay.
The new Swift Dzire will launch in
India before the Swift hatchback arrives. The former is tipped to launch in May
2017, while the latter is reported to arrive in showrooms in this festive
season. Both models will be manufactured at Suzuki’s new plant in Gujarat.
