Infiniti covers off its Infiniti Q70L Bespoke
Edition at Auto Shanghai 2015, showcasing its concept car-inspired interior for
the first time in front of the predominantly Chinese crowd.
The special version of the production Q70L, with 150 mm longer wheelbase, features four luxurious seats wrapped in
rich white quilted leather. This exploration is meant to fill the gap between
the current interiors in production cars and luscious interiors of Infiniti’s
concept cars.
The interior is where this Q70L really shines.
Taking inspiration from the Q80 Inspiration and Q60 Concept, the sedan’s four
seats are wrapped in white quilted leather, a plush material that can also be
seen on the door panels. The steering wheel, the glove compartment, armrests,
and the door inserts, swathed in black leather, are all stitched by hand.
There’s no word as to what motivates this concept
car, but should it become a production model, customers will get to choose from
the two drivetrains available for the China-spec Q70L.
