The Italian motorcycle brand is gearing up to unveil
a new limited edition model of the MV Agusta Dragster at the upcoming Verona
Motor Bike Expo.
The company is getting ready with a possible special
edition based on the Dragster. In a teaser image released on their Facebook
page, MV Agusta has also tagged Technoart Sersan, an Italian Vehicle Body Shop
and Valter Moto, a components maker. The latter has previously worked with MV
Agusta for the Brutale 800 Lewis Hamilton edition.
The exhaust is to be sourced from SC Project,
another Italian brand. The bike can be expected to be limited to a few units,
allowing MV Agusta to charge a premium price for the bike.
At present, the standard variant of the MV Agusta
Dragster is powered by a three cylinder 798 cc in-line three cylinder mill
coupled to a 6 speed cassette type gearbox. The DOHC mill is capable of
producing 125 PS of maximum power at 11,600 rpm and 81 Nm of peak torque at
8,600 rpm.
