Electric scooters are on the rise elsewhere for several years now and in India it is a territory big manufacturers are yet to step foot in with promising products. Fancying an early start and sales aspirations that go with it, Okinawa Electric Scooters brand has officially entered in the domestic space with the launch of Ridge.

The Ridge electric scooter comes with a price tag of Rs. 43,702 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It will require registration from RTO and insurance as opposed to some of the existing chargeable scooters. Its products will cater to the demands of average person’s daily commuting while adding lifestyle without hurting the environment. Composed to create “revolution” in the Indian transportation space, the company promises never-seen-before performance standards.
