The Toyota Innova range will be expanded with the
‘Venturer’ variant in Indonesia.
The Toyota Innova Venturer could be the most
luxurious variant of the car in its range. The exterior has been enhanced with
black front bumper, wheel arch cladding, side skirts, chrome strip at the
bottom of the back glass, roof spoiler, chrome garnish on underbody elements
and 17-inch alloy wheels in gunmetal finish. The Venturer variant’s signature
colour is exclusive Wine Red, but apparently it will be available in a shade of
gray as well.
Inside, the Toyota Innova Venturer will have a 6-seat
seating layout, the car’s brochure revealed previously. 4.2-inch colour MID,
automatic air-conditioning, ambient lighting, auto-down window and seven
airbags are some of the equipment highlights of the Venturer variant known as
of now.
The Toyota Innova Venturer will be available petrol
and diesel engines, in manual and automatic transmission models. The petrol
engine would be the 1TR-FE 2.0-litre Dual VVT-i four-cylinder unit that
develops 139 PS and 18.7 kgm of torque. The diesel engine option
would have to be the 2GD-FTV 2.4-litre four-cylinder diesel unit that produces
149 PS and 34.9 kgm /36.7 kgm of torque. Transmission
choices are expected to be 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.
