The Eli Zero has been revealed at CES in Las Vegas. The startup car maker has unveiled the look of
its first electric vehicle, but has yet to provide any hard details about the
Zero, such as the dimensions, range or performance.
The Zero should be
around the size of the Renault Twizy, which measures 2.32m long, 1.19m wide,
and 1.46m tall. Both the Twizy and Zero seat two people. Unlike the Twizy,
though, the Zero has a fully enclosed cabin thanks to its full-height
glass-covered doors.
Eli Motors claims that
the Zero is “an advanced, yet simple product that will fundamentally shift how
we engage with urban fabrics”, that it is “the ultimate two seater mobility
device for agile daily movement”, and that it “addresses the dynamic
transportation demands of modern cities and towns by offering a versatile
driving solution for both urban and suburban neighborhoods”.
The company has yet to announce pricing or give an
indication about its production timeline.
