Holden Trailblazer Z71 will follow its Colorado
sibling in adding a number of cosmetic tweaks for a lightly toughened look. Pricing
is still to be confirmed.
The Z71 will add the same dark-finish 18-inch
painted alloy wheels worn by the ute version, along with black body side
mouldings, belt line mouldings, mirrors and door handles. There’s also
gloss-black covers for the B-pillars. Outside embellishments are rounded out
with Z71 graphics to the hood, and the cabin gets Z71 floor mates and head-rest
embroidery.
The Trailblazer Z71 will be offered in four colours:
Summit White and Absolute Red at no additional cost, and the AUD 550 premium
options Satin Steel Grey and Mineral Black. Equipment already standard with the
LTZ model include a full-size spare, an 8.0-inch touchscreen MyLink
infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite navigation and
voice recognition, remote vehicle start via the key fob, leather-trim, heated
front seats and front parking sensors.
The LTZ also features climate control, forward
collision alert, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear
cross-traffic alert, tyre pressure monitoring system, LED tail-lights, heated
and power folding exterior mirrors, automatic wipers and chrome exterior
highlights. Standard on all Trailblazer models are seven airbags, hill start
assist, trailer sway control, hill descent control and remote window operation
via the key fob.
Under the bonnet, the Trailblazer retains the
2.8-litre Duramax turbo-diesel engine, which produces 200 Hp of power and 500 Nm
of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission exclusively. The
Trailblazer Z71 will be available from June, limited to 400 vehicles.
