Honda Atlas has launched the Honda BR-V in Pakistan
with prices starting at PKR 2.23 million. The BR-V is available in 5- and 7-seat versions, but
Pakistan gets only the latter.
The Honda BR-V
was developed by Honda R&D Asia Pacific in Thailand for the Asian
countries. The Honda BR-V measures 4,456 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width and
1,666 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,662 mm. Its high ground clearance
of 201 mm is well suited for the rough terrains. Due to the third row of seats,
the there’s only 223 litres of boot space, but folding them, this figure
increases to 539 litres.
The Honda BR-V is available in Pakistan in two trim
levels: standard and S. LED daytime running lights, roof rails, rear HVAC vents
and steering wheel with audio controls are standard. The S grade adds features
like front fog lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, driver seat height adjuster,
7-inch Display Audio infotainment system with navigation and rearview camera.
The Honda BR-V is powered by the 1.5-litre i-VTEC
four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 120 PS at 6,000 rpm and 145
Nm of torque at 4,600 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a continuously variable
transmission. The standard BR-V is priced at PKR 2.23 million and the BR-V S is priced at PKR 2.33 million.
