Jolta Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has unveiled three electric powered motorcycles: The E70, E100 and E125. Good news
is that these are also being manufactured locally.
The E70 will have around 50km of range after a 5
hour charge and is speculated to cost around Rs. 38,000/- and will have a top
speed of 40-50 km/h. The E100 will have a slightly more powerful electric
motor, a bigger battery and will require around 6 hours of charge that will
give it a predicted range of 70 km and a top speed of 60 km/h.
The Jolta 125 will be the most expensive of the
bunch and will have a range of 100 km after an 8 hour charge and will be capable
of reaching speeds up to 80 km/h.
