Shelby is a name mostly known for making awesome
Mustang’s, but that isn't all the company is about. It has announced a hopped
up version of the Ford F-150 Truck for those with enough scratch to afford one.
The truck sells for US$ 96,880 counting the base
vehicle. For the money you will get a very cool looking 4-door truck putting
out 750 hp. Power for the truck comes from the trucks standard 5.0L V8 engine
pumped up with supercharger for more power.
Standard equipment include 22-inch chrome wheels
with 305/45 R22 performance tyres, fender flares, active front fender vents,
Shelby striping and badging, painted tonneau cover, dark-tinted windows, Shelby
carpet floor mats, and Super Snake embroidery on the head rests.
Other features include a Borla dual-exhaust system,
Shelby suspension tune, a carbon-fibre intake tube, and a dual-intake ‘Ram Air’
Shelby bonnet.
The interior of the truck is also revised with new
seats, dash, and floor trim. Shelby covers the truck with a 3/36k mile warranty
and the trucks all get Shelby serial numbers and are documented in the Shelby
Registry. Two or four wheel drive versions are offered and only 150 will be
made.
