Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the Toyota
Innova Sport Touring with prices starting at INR 17.19 lakh (ex-showroom
Delhi). The Sport Touring variant brings sportier styling to the Toyota Innova
Crysta and celebrates the MPV’s first anniversary in the country.
The Toyota Innova Touring Sport introduces a new
colour named ‘Wildfire’ to the Toyota Innova Crysta. The
sporty variant is available in White Pearl Crystal Shine colour too.
An all-black front grille gives the distinctive
identity to the Touring Sport variant, and that is in addition to several more
styling enhancements such as smoked chrome headlamps and front bumper spoiler,
new 16-inch matte black alloy wheels, black wheel arch cladding, rocker panels
with chrome inserts and black tailgate garnish.
The cabin also follows the sporty and dynamic theme
with exclusive red illumination for the instrument panel, steering wheel with
black wood and red stitching, red wood trim on the dashboard, red stitching on
the seats, console box, gearshift lever (in MT model) and parking brake and
black wood finish on the tailgate, seat-back table and console box.
The Toyota Innova Touring Sport is available in four
mechanical configurations: 2GD-FTV 2.4-litre diesel engine with 5-speed manual
transmission, 1GD-FTV 2.8-litre diesel engine with 6-speed automatic
transmission, 2TR-FE 2.7-litre petrol engine with 5-speed manual transmission
and 2TR-FE 2.7-litre petrol engine with 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2.4-litre
diesel engine produces 150 PS and 343 Nm of torque, the 2.8-litre
diesel engine develops 174 PS and 360 Nm of torque and the 2.7-litre
petrol engine delivers 166 PS and 245 Nm of torque.
