A 100 cc commuter Hero Honda CD Deluxe has been
modified by a Pune-based customiser, Ayas Customs Motorcycle. The ‘Tracker’
hammers home the point that beautiful customs do not have to look at expensive
bikes for a starting point.
The Hero Honda CD Deluxe Tracker gets a raised front
fender with fatter profile tyres which are much bigger than the stock unit. The
use of blackened spokes also lends the bike a ‘rough and tough’ look.
Continuing the theme of stylish economy, the bike has been given drum brakes at
both ends.
The fuel tank has been reshaped and given a custom
paint scheme. The yellow and black bands painted on the tank add character to
the custom Hero Honda CD Deluxe Tracker. The chrome exhaust unit adds contrast
to the motorcycle. The flat-tracker custom seat gets a leather wrapping while
the front suspension and rear dual springs are new.
The powerplant in the Hero Honda CD Deluxe Tracker
is the same horizontally mounted carburetted mill, and the circular headlamp
adds a bit of classic touch.
