Miraj-based The Transporter off-road vehicle
customiser has introduced a new off-road package for the Mahindra Thar, which
comprises of a slew of off-road spec accessories that should help unleash the
full potential of the vehicle off the road.
Some of the accessories include Maxxis Bighorn MT
tire, steel wheels, snorkel with metal pipe connector, custom front bumper with
winch plate, custom rear bumper, external roll cage with black powder coating,
roof carrier, mini ladder, front facing bench seat/bed, 10 ton Pintle Tow hook,
U shackles, plastic diesel jerry can, 4 feet flag antenna, upgraded leaf spring
suspension, rear metal door with glass, 8 inch LED bars, 7-inch LED fog lights,
roof-top tent, music system with speakers and central locking.
Under the hood is the familiar 2.5-litre CRDe
engine, which doesn’t appear to have received any upgrades. In stock

between 1,800-2,000 rpm, which generates power for all four wheels via a
5-speed manual transmission.
